Pat joined WGRGR in 1994 and has been a partner since 1999. Pat is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri. His legal background includes extensive litigation work in both commercial and business law. Pat's primary area of practice is representing banks and small businesses on such matters as:
Complex Business and Commercial Litigation;
Contracts;
Lender Liability;
Officer/Director Liability; and
Uniform Commercial Code Issues
After attending Lawrence High School, Pat graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with honors in 1987. Pat attended Carolina on a Navy ROTC scholarship, and subsequently served as a naval officer prior to attending law school. Pat obtained his law degree from the University of Kansas in 1992, where he earned membership in the Order of the Coif. While at KU, Pat was a Note and Comment Editor for the Law Review. Pat is married to Carrie, the Government Relations Director for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America which is headquartered in Lawrence.
