Pat is a shareholder at WGRGR, with thirty years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer. Her areas of practice include:

Her primary practice emphasis is in the areas of banking, bankruptcy and commercial law and litigation on behalf of numerous bank clients across Kansas. Her bank clientele rely upon her for representation in the bankruptcy courts in Topeka, Kansas City and Wichita, and in state courts across Kansas; real estate and personal property foreclosures in state and federal court; and day-to-day advice, document preparation and review. In addition, Pat is Chancellor (General Counsel) of the Kansas East Conference of The United Methodist Church, which serves 325 churches. In this capacity, she regularly handles or coordinates representation on matters of incorporation and governance, property and trust, employment, wills and estates, probate and donations and gifts.
Pat grew up in Troy, Kansas; did her undergraduate work at Kansas State University; and earned her J.D. from the University of Kansas. Pat is a third generation Kansas lawyer. She is a former President of the Kansas Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section and served on the Bankruptcy Rules Committee for the District of Kansas for many years. Pat served as Counsel to the Girl Scouts of Kaw Valley Council, Inc. until its merger with two Missouri Girl Scout councils; served on the state-wide Board of Directors of Kansas Legal Services; and continues her long-standing service on the Advisory Board of Directors of Kansas Legal Services in Topeka. Pat also has been a volunteer officer of the Native Sons and Daughters of Kansas.
Pat and her husband, Bruce (also a member of WGRGR), have two children, Ben and Laura. Pat and her family are members of First United Methodist Church in Topeka, and the Topeka Round-Up Club. They are also avid supporters of girls' softball, especially when Laura is playing.
