Jessa Thorne - "Pau Aloalo"

I started this project out by stretching my own canvas. This was my first experience painting so I decided to sketch out the photograph I took of the flower, and paint from there. I used acrylic paint as my medium.

I chose the Pau Aloalo to represent the beauty of life itself in Kansas. The flower is not only beautiful, it is also unique in its own way.
